| When our health is at a high we feel full of life and energy. Part of the reason we feel this abundance of energy is because our heart and circulatory systems are functioning as they should, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the cells. CoQ10-30 contains CoQ10 in a base of capsicum and ginkgo is a formula designed to bring energy to the body by building the heart and circulatory system. CoQ10 More energy and a longer life span is CoQ10's claim to fame, and scientific studies back it up. CoQ10 is a coenzyme found in all body cells, and it works in these cells to help produce energy. The organ that needs the most energy in the body is the heart, which is constantly pumping, so it makes sense that the heart contains the largest amount of CoQ10 of any part of the body. When given as a supplement, this coenzyme strengthens the heart without exercise. Scientific studies have shown that people have suffered a heart attack or who have high blood pressure greatly improve by taking COQ10. CoQ10 also regulates the use of oxygen in our bodies. When the oxygen becomes damaging, such as a free radical, then CoQ10 destroys it, but when the body isn't getting enough oxygen, CoQ10 makes more available. Since free radicals and lack of oxygen lead to aging, CoQ10 seems to prevent aging. When rats were given supplements of CoQ10 they lived 150 weeks, which translates to 140 human years! When we are young, CoQ10 is abundant in the body. It is found in many of the foods we eat such as beef, spinach and peanuts, and it is made in the body. The problem is that after age 20, our levels of CoQ10 continually drop as we age. With supplementation of CoQ10 our heart stays strong, ensuring that our cells are receiving proper amounts of nutrients and oxygen, and we may be protected from the aging affects of free radicals. Capsicum Capsicum is a spicy herb commonly used in chili and salsa. Not only does it stimulate our noses and taste buds, but it also stimulates digestion and circulation. As we eat it, capsicum promotes the flow of saliva and hydrochloric acid, relieving any digestive problems of the stomach. In the colon, it stimulates peristaltic action, moving the waste out and releasing any trapped gas. Capsicum brings up the heat and energy of the body. Slow and sluggish circulation that accumulates toxins is quickened, and blood moves to the extremities of the body taking with it needed oxygen and nutrients to the cells. For this reason capsicum is recommended at the first sign of a cold or illness. In scientific studies capsicum has been shown to lower high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Ginkgo Ginkgo is a tree famous in the Orient for it's resistance to pollution, viruses and fungi. It is one of the oldest trees known to man, and it is a powerful antioxidant. Many studies have been done on it's effects on circulation. Ginkgo increases circulation, and seems to have a special affinity for the brain. Patients between the ages of 26 and 86 who had an inadequate flow of blood to the brain had dramatic improvement after taking only small amounts of ginkgo. In another test patients scored higher on alertness and reaction tests after taking ginkgo. Ginkgo also aids circulation by lowering blood clotting and high blood pressure.
