Daily Enviro Detox
The new combination Daily Enviro Detox is an alterative or blood purifier combination which contains herbs that help your body defend itself against environmental poisons. Here is a breakdown on the constituents found in this new formula.

One of the key ingredients in this supplement is lactobacillus sporogenes, a bacteria that makes up more than half of the friendly bacteria in the digestive system. The processed foods and drugs that many of us consume destroy the "good" bacteria in our intestinal tracts and allow harmful microorganisms to flourish. These good bacteria help to protect the body against yeast, pollutants, and harmful bacteria. They also aid digestion and reduce toxicity in the digestive tract. Lactobacillus normalizes the bowel elimination, reduces cholesterol levels and prevents kidney disease.

Another important component is the enzyme pepsin. Proteins which make it to the small intestines yet undigested are broken up by pepsin. These undigested proteins trigger allergic responses which tax the immune system. Pepsin clears thebowel of the stagnant, improperly digested protein material of an overloaded digestive tract.

In addition to these ingredients, Daily Enviro Detox contains eleven herbs which work together on different body systems to maintain and build general health. A quick review of the benefits of these herbs follows.

Fenugreek and marshmallow are mucilages which soothe irritated tissue such as mucous membranes. They absorb irritants from the digestive tract. Marshmallow enhances white blood cells which feed on disease microbes.

Milk thistle has a powerful protective effect on the liver. It is the job of the liver to prevent toxic materials absorbed from the intestinal tract from reaching the blood stream. Research has shown that milk thistle protects the liver against manytypes of toxic substances.

Dandelion works hand in hand with milk thistle as a blood purifier and digestive aid. Both thistles and dandelions are highly resistant to toxic sprays in the environment, a "signature" showing their ability to help the body resist chemical poisons.

Yellow dock, sarsaparilla, burdock and red clover are blood purifiers like dandelion and milk thistle. They eliminate toxins from the blood stream through the liver and kidneys. They have traditionally been used for skin disorders and degenerative diseases like boils, abscesses, cysts and growths.

Cascara sagrada stimulates intestinal contractions and restores the bowel tone. Discovered by Spanish explorers, it also increases the flow ofbile which is how the liver detoxifies itself

Echinacea enhances the immune system. It was traditionally combined with blood purifiers to combat degenerative diseases.

Ginger is the catalyst in this formula. It helps to settle the stomach and improve digestion.

All together, this combination shows promise for helping people protect their bodies againstpesticide residues, food additives, chemicalpoisons and air and water pollutants. As a preventative, 1-2 capsules per day should be sufficient. For acute detoxification after exposure to environmental contaminants a more effective dosage would be 2-4 capsules every 2-4 hours for a period of about 48 hours. Be sure to drink plenty of water with this formula to help "flush out" irritants. The combination could also be used for skin diseases (acne, psoriasis, eczema, etc.) or for degenerative conditions. It is a stronger alternative to BP-X.
